I'm a newbie on Vtigercrm and before going further, I need an answer from any "expert user".
I'm having a small firm on the domain of apartment and house rentals.
My suppliers are rental agencies and private owners.
My leads and costumers are private people or sometimes entity like firm or movie production.
I'd love to implement a CRM solution and I'm considering choosing VtigerCRM.
But I'm a bit confused.. and I'll try to explain why.

Can you tell me how, where (which module where I'll have to modify the form's fields) I have to create my "products" (ie houses, apartments) in Vtiger ?
I explain....
I can imagine using "account" for creating records for rental agencies (for taking an example).
I can imagine using "contacts" for creating records for my contact of these rental agencies (still for my example).
I can imagine using webform on my websites (where you find my rental offers) to create "leads".
And I believe that I'll use the "products" module to record all the data and details of my houses and apartments (shown on my different websites).
But I have read on vtiger manual that products are linked to vendors... but vendors are not considered as contacts or accounts.
Where am I wrong ? Whiwh module I have to use for these records ?

That will be very kind of you if you can give me a solution.
I need this to go further and to consider then choosing a technical partner like you in order to implement a crm solution.

Ad I apologize for my english.

FWIW I don't think vTiger is necessarily the right system for you.

There are specialist systems around that handle bookings/rentals for
apartments & properties. You would have to do an awful lot of work with
vTiger to make it fit your requirements and make it even remotely like
some of the systems out there. There is no point in reinventing the wheel.

I can give you further details if you want to email me directly (I use
vTiger quite happily for our main business and another system entirely
for some property management)
